A Note from Your Publisher

By Sandra Ozaki, Publisher Macaroni Kid North Little Rock, Arkansas March 27, 2020

Hello Friends!

We sincerely hope that this finds you well and safe at home. If you're working, thank you for keeping things going. If you're affected by all of the changes, we want you to know that we are here for you. Macaroni Kid North Little Rock is relaunching this week to bring you relevant information, activities, and more to make social distancing and self-quarantining easier.

With so many people losing employment or facing reduced hours, hiring freezes, and more we strive to bring you information about virtual activities, resources, and as many free or low-cost offerings in our community to help get us all through this difficult time. The calendar is transitioning from in-person events to virtual ones. We are adding suggestions throughout the week of things you can do with your family. Be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for up-to-date information and last-minute changes.

This week's newsletter features a special offer from our friends at 99 Walks. If you're not able to get out and about, check out the 15-minute home walking class. Are you working from home while trying to help your kids homeschool? We've got some advice from a homeschool mom that will put your mind at ease. And check out the list of 8 Great Audiobook Suggestions for Kids, and a dinosaur egg craft to delight the little ones. Feel free to substitute other plastic toys like party favors, rings, play or real coins.

We love hearing from you, so please send your suggestions or comments to us via Facebook, Instagram, or by emailing sandrao@macaronikid.com

Until next week, much love and aloha from our family to yours!

Sandra
