Hello Friends,

How are we holding up this week? My heart goes out to those of you who are working on the front lines of this battle we have to contain this pandemic. Everyone in hospitals, grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, and countless others keeping their small business afloat by doing curbside pickup or delivery. And the many small businesses are giving back by feeding first responders and hospital workers. Thank you all!

Maintaining a positive attitude is important and with all of the serious news circulating in traditional and social media it is difficult to keep a balanced point of view. If you have a positive story that you would like to share about your family or business, please message us on social media or email sandrao@macaronikid.com so we can bring your story to our readers.

This week's newsletter has some wonderful articles to help you keep your cool and keep those kiddos occupied and having fun! We'll get them walking to burn up that excess energy with a fun walking tracker. And to refuel those little bodies we have an easy chili recipe and lion pancakes! Do you need some activities for the whole family? How about a simple STEM experiment and a recipe for hot cocoa ice cream? We've even got quiet time activities covered with two wonderful books. We'll learn how Timmy Failure got started in the new prequel and make a new friend with Ella the Elephant.

If your family has a tip or two to share with other families on how to stay organized, work from home, or limit screen time, please share it with us on our Facebook Page. Until next week, from our family to yours, stay safe and keep washing those hands!

Aloha,

Sandra
