1. NLR Firefighter's Challenge - Sept. 8-10, 9 am-5 pm
This year the Firefighter's Challenge heads over to the parking lot at Dickey-Stephens Park. Competitors will challenge themselves in individual, relay, or tandem competitions. Each race will duplicate the physical demands of real-life firefighting such as climbing the five-story tower, hoisting, chopping, dragging hoses, and rescuing a life-sized, 175-pound “victim” as participants race against themselves, their opponents, and the clock.
2. Throwback Thursday at Strike Zone Bowling Center - Sept. 8, 11 am-9 pm
Let the good times bowl with some throwback tunes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s! Enjoy 2 games for $5 all-day!
3. 4th Annual Little Rock 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb - Sept. 10, 8 am
Join us to honor those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001 as we climb 110 flights of stairs to represent those climbed by Firefighters, Police, and EMS. This year we are offering the "Walk For A Fallen Hero" option for those who cannot climb but would still like to participate. We will walk the equivalent of 1.1 miles for the Heroes.
4. Main Street Food Truck Festival - Sept. 11, 11 am-6 pm
Check out some of the best food trucks in the region while shopping with local vendors, enjoying the beer gardens, and being entertained by a variety of musicians and entertainers.
5. Fall Favorite Recipes! Facebook Live in the Kitchen with Macaroni KID and Organic Valley - Sept. 12
It's almost Fall y'all! Join us live on Facebook as we prepare delicious fall-themed recipes made with Organic Valley ingredients. We will be giving prizes from Organic Valley along the way!
