Buttons have been used for decades to express political opinions and were especially popular during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s. In this program, students (grades 4 through college) will use their artistic ability to design and create their own wearable buttons to speak up and speak out.
Each month provides new themes and exhibits for people to explore, completely free of charge. As the area spans the Creative Corridor and River Market District, attendees are encouraged to visit several venues during the course of an evening - by car, sponsored trolley, or on foot.

Join us at the St. Joseph Center from 9 am-12:30 pm for multiple group projects around our building, farm, and grounds (lunch provided). Registration is required.
