1. Wiggle Worms: Valentine Play-Doh at Museum of Discovery, Tues., Thurs., Sat. 10:30 am
Wiggle Worms introduces children, ages 6 and younger, and their families to science through fun and hands-on activities on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
2. Third Friday Night Art Walk in the Argenta Arts District, Friday, 5-7 pm
Take a stroll through Argenta, down Main Street, where many of our Argenta venues feature original art from local and regional artists.
3. Bouncing for Birds Pop-Up Nature Play at the Little Rock Zoo , Sat. 10:30 am-11:30 am
Keep an eye out for these mini pop-ups at one of the play spaces around the Zoo! Educators will have a variety of free-play items set up for your family to enjoy. Each month will have a different theme and feature activities that encourage building, music-making, close observations, movement, and more!
4. Sunday Makebreak: Black Heritage Art at Michaels, Sun. 2 pm-4 pm
We are celebrating Black History Month with a free event. Come in-store and paint a free painting!
5. 2023 Home School Day at the Capitol in Little Rock, Tues. 8 am-3 pm
On February 21, 2023, homeschoolers from all over Arkansas are planning to fill the halls of government and fill the tummies of our elected officials with free home-cooked desserts. Bring your entire family. Bring all your home school friends. Drop off your desserts. Spend the rest of the day touring our State Capitol, sightseeing around Little Rock, and shopping. It’s fun! It’s educational! It puts our best home school foot forward!
