1. Saving Memories: Photo Digitization for Tornado Survivors, Apr. 10-12
If you have been affected by recent tornadoes and would like to preserve your important photos and mementos, you can pick up a Saving Memories submission packet between April 10-12 at CALS Main Library.
2. Opening Night: Arkansas Travelers vs Springfield Cardinal, Apr. 11 at 6 pm
Cheer on your Travs as they open the season against the Springfield Cardinals!
3. Superman (1978, PG) at CALS Ron Robinson Theater, Apr. 14 at 7 pm
Come join us for this classic film, a true testament to the power of superhero stories! Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the film starts at 7:00 pm. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available for purchase.
4. Messtival at the Museum of Discovery, Apr. 15, 9 am-3 pm
Museum of Discovery is devoting a day to making messes at its Messtival event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15. At Messtival, guests can play with and in bubbles, mud, water, foam, and more. Even better, guests will not be expected to clean up their messes. Messtival will take place in the streets outside the museum, while regular museum exhibits will be featured inside.
5. Instrument Petting Zoo ft. the AR Symphony Orchestra's Quapaw Quartet, Apr. 15, 10 am
Join the Children’s Library and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s Quapaw Quartet as we learn about different types of instruments and hear a little music demonstration from the quartet.
