Why did the donut go to the dentist?

Paul's Donuts

2127 Main St., N. Little Rock 72114

This family-owned shop is located at the corner of 22nd St. and Main St. right across the street from NLR High School. Paul's Donuts, formerly Shipley's, was renamed for their son Paul, a recent graduate of NLRHS. You'll get fast, friendly service in the drive-thru (how do they remember everything without writing it down?) but walk-up service inside the store can get a little hectic before and after school when students are grabbing a bite to eat. Be sure to try the spicy kolaches and blended coffee if you have a sweet tooth. Oh yeah, great, fresh donuts too! Paul's Donuts is open 7 days a week and into the afterschool hours. They adjust their hours during the summertime so get there early for the best selection.

How do you know if a donut is feeling sad or tired?

Mark's Do-Nut Shop

4015 Camp Robinson Rd., N. Little Rock 72118

501-753-2017 (open Monday-Saturday, 5:30 am-11:00 am)

What can we say about this iconic North Little Rock donut shop? Mark's has been around for a long time and the quality and craftsmanship of their donuts prove it. Mark's Do-Nut Shop has a loyal following as evident from the early morning lines in the drive-thru and inside the store. Fast service is the name of the game as people rush off to work. Mark's Do-Nut Shop frequently sells out of items so the early bird gets the best selection. They have a quick turnover and refill popular items while you wait (as long as you're not there at closing time.) Do yourself a favor and call in your order the day before. You can thank me later 😋
