Juneteenth Storytime at Laman Library - 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Learn about & celebrate this important day through story, song, and creativity!

Creature Features: One Day This Tree Will Fall at Museum of Discovery - 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Creature Features introduces children, ages 6 and younger, and their families to animal programming through fun and hands-on activities.

Rover Neighborhood Stop at NLR Animal Shelter - 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Join us on Rover to celebrate animal adoptions and promote libraries! Library card sign-ups, book check-outs, and story time will all be happening to build Dogtown community partnerships.

Tuesday, June 17th

National Pollinator Week at the Little Rock Zoo - Join us from June 17th to 23rd for National Pollinator Week at the Little Rock Zoo and learn about the unique pollinators that are essential to our environment!

Kids 12 & Under Eat Free on Tuesdays at Main Event Little Rock - One free kid meal per food item purchase of $11.99 or more.

Teens in the Kitchen: Dal with Naan at Laman Library - 11:00 am to noon

We're cooking with color this summer! Join us for the third installment of our Teens in the Kitchen: Color Your World Summer Series, where we'll be making dal with yellow lentils.

ROVER Neighborhood Stop at Emerald Park - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Wednesday, June 18th

Tumble Tots & Toddler Gym: Juneteenth Storytime at Laman Library - 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Join us for a special Juneteenth Tumbling Storytime!

Ballet Folklórico Quetzalli at Argenta Library - 11:00 am to noon

Come discover the art of traditional Hispanic folkloric dance! Little ones will learn how to twirl, step, and explore the beauty of the colorful outfits worn in these dances. The troupe will teach the children easy steps to follow.

Rover Neighborhood Stop at Glenview Community Center - 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

While Rover is at Glenview, students in the after-school program will enjoy story time and have an opportunity to check out books on Rover. Community members can come aboard to sign up for a library card, make the monthly crafts, check out materials, or use any other services the mobile library has to offer.

Beautiful Day Storytime at Beautywood Books - 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Join us for a storytime inspired by the world and works of Mister Rogers! All ages are welcome, storytimes are free, and no sign-up is required.

Thursday, June 19th

Juneteenth Creative Morning at Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Honor Juneteenth through creativity, reflection, and connection during a family-friendly, drop-in artmaking activity presented in collaboration with the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center’s Juneteenth in the Rock celebration.

Wiggle Worms: Shadow Drawing at Museum of Discovery - 10:30 am-11:30 am

Wiggle Worms introduces children, ages 6 and younger, and their families to science through fun and hands-on activities

The Thea Foundation: Color Our World Walks at Argenta Library - 10:00 am to 11:00 am

This Friday we will take a walk over to the Thea Foundation. We will listen to the history, tour the art gallery, and learn about different projects you can be a part of.

Toddler Time at Impact Gymnastics (ages 1-5) - 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Join us every Friday for Toddler Time. Kids aged 1-5 will enjoy obstacle courses and free play. Pre-registration is required.

Homeschool/Rec Open Gym at Impact Gymnastics (ages 6+) - noon to 2:00 pm

Join us every Friday from 12-2 pm for Homeschool kids ages 6 and up and Recreational Level 1 Kinder and up. Pre-registration is required.
