Description
Come hear the story of Raye Montague, Little Rock’s own “hidden figure” credited with creating the first computer-generated rough draft of a U.S. naval ship. She was the first female program manager of ships in the U.S. Navy and paved the way for Black women in STEM. After the story, we’ll dream about everything we can be, too!
A copy of The Girl with a Mind for Math: The Story of Raye Montague by Julia Finley Mosca will be given away in a drawing at the end of the program to three lucky attendees.
