With central Arkansas in the zone of the total eclipse on April 8, 2024, North Little Rock Parks and Recreation is offering parking passes at the Burns Park Soccer Complex and NLR Riverfront Park (using the parking lot of the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum). The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum (AIMM) offers the opportunity to view the eclipse aboard their barge and boat (additional $15 fee).
The Total Eclipse in the Park is a special event at the Burns Park Soccer Complex. Food trucks will be available, with a large area to spread out for you and your family and friends, security and traffic assistance will also be available. The vehicle parking fee is charged due to the limited parking area for the event.
The parking pass is available for $25 per vehicle. Spaces are limited, so get your pass early. Details for purchasing the parking passes, and more information about the parking passes, parks, and optional viewing at AIMM can be found here. NO alcohol will be allowed.
