Description
With central Arkansas in the zone of the total eclipse on April 8, 2024, North Little Rock Parks and Recreation is offering parking passes at the Burns Park Soccer Complex and NLR Riverfront Park (using the parking lot of the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum).
Both areas are along the Arkansas River offering a great southerly view perfect for viewing the eclipse with relatively NO obstructions. The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum (AIMM) offers the opportunity to view the eclipse from aboard their barge and boat for an additional fee.
North Little Rock Riverfront Park is next to AIMM and will be using AIMM’s parking lot for the parking passes. You can then make your way into Riverfront Park. Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided (while supplies last)
Accessible restrooms are available. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.
