On April 8, 2024, a spectacular total solar eclipse will be visible as it crosses from Texas to Maine. Arkansas is in the path of totality and is considered a prime location to experience this rare occurrence. Come celebrate with us at Outdoor Recreation and enjoy Herkmarch with the whole family!
Participants will walk a 4.5-mile path along LRAFB trails starting in the ODR parking lot that will include refreshment stations and eclipse trivia. The end of the trail will open up to ODR’s backyard where participants can view the solar eclipse with ISO-certified solar eclipse glasses. The price includes a pair of solar glasses and a memorabilia mug.
Registered participants who complete the trail will also receive an exclusive eclipse ornament. Solar glasses will also be sold separately for $5 a pair. The first 25 participants that register will get to view the solar eclipse with a specially outfitted telescope so sign up early. Trip is
