Enjoy the free fishing weekend in Arkansas! Residents and nonresidents may fish anywhere in Arkansas from noon Friday, June 7, until midnight Sunday night, June 9, 2024, without fishing licenses or trout permits. Regulations for Arkansas waters apply, including daily limits, slot limits, and length limits.
Looking to fish? Visit one of our four state hatcheries for the annual fishing derbies on Free Fishing Weekend! These events are for families; all adults and children must register before the derby. Bring your fishing gear and bait along with chairs, water, sunscreen, and snacks. There is a limit of three fish per person.
