Rescheduled to 11/23 ~ Reforestation of NLR Burns Park White Oak Bayou (ages 12+)

Meet at the ARCHERY RANGE in NLR Burns Park (4500 Arlene Laman Dr.) at 9 AM on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 to plant native wetland trees along the banks of White Oak Bayou. Over 20,000 trees in Burns Park were destroyed by the March 31, 2023 tornado. Reforestation of White Oak Bayou will prevent soil erosion and restore habitat for fauna and flora. Bring gloves and a sack lunch, wear boots, and bring your friends and family to help.
