The NLRHS Theatre Arts Dept. proudly presents Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Nov. 14-18, 2024! Designed, built, managed, and performed by students, this show guarantees to be what the community has come to expect from NLRHS performances. Please support the North Little Rock High School Theatre Arts Department by coming to see its rendition of Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.
This production also includes young performers from fourth to eighth grade who live in North Little Rock. We hosted a workshop and audition and are so pleased to have these talented young artists as a part of this incredible performance opportunity!
Synopsis:
Expelled from school (again) and sent off to the summer camp for half-bloods, troubled teen Percy—aka Perseus—Jackson discovers he's a demigod, with a very powerful father. Before he can catch his breath and explore this newfound identity, he’s packed off to Camp Half-Blood, where a riddling oracle delivers a prophecy. And off Percy must go, on a quest with a few of his new half-blood friends, to retrieve Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt, prevent an all-out war among their godly parents, and hope to rescue his mom from the Underworld.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is a musical adventure that will appeal to all children, but is recommended for eight years old and up.
